The event will run 12 p.m. until 6 p.m. in Grass Lake and includes music, vendors, food trucks, breweries & wineries, and more. Full information can be found online.

Walk to End Alzheimer’s

The Walk to End Alzheimer’s is a fundraiser for the Alzheimer’s Association with integrated moments to reflect and remember those affected by Alzheimer’s. Development Manager for the Alzheimer’s Association, Sue Prynn, recently joined WKHM to share the details.

Prynn says a lot of information will be available and quite a bit of fun before the walk begins at 11:15 a.m. at Horace Blackman Park:

How do you know when to start the conversation with your family about a loved one with Alzheimer’s? Prynn says it can be a difficult conversation and is different with every family, but information is a phone call away.
