A contractor working on a lakefront home accidentally breached a sewer line, spilling an estimated 4,000 gallons of wastewater into Clark Lake. Brooklyn Village Manager Jae Guetschow reports the leak has been contained.

Access to Clark Lake will be restricted until the water can be tested for bacteria. People are advised to stay out of the lake until the all clear has been given.
