For the first event, volunteers for PPT will meet at Norm Creger Park, 700 S. Pleasant Ave. to spread mulch at the playground as well as pick up litter. Afterwards, volunteers will head to nearby W. George Wade Park at 1100 Plymouth Street to mulch the playground and remove litter there as well.

Volunteers need not sign up and projects are open to all Jackson residents. More information on these and other opportunities can be found at peoplefortheparks.org.

Aaron Dimick, PPT Co-Founder and President, says “It’s exciting to see our neighbors come together to improve our public spaces for everyone in the community. We’re looking forward to all we can do in 2023 to keep this positive momentum going.”
