Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — Coming up this Saturday morning is the Bark for Life walk at the Cascades Park Fishery Pavilion. Event organizer Nan Whitmore recently spoke with WKHM on A.M. Jackson to discuss the details.

Check-in begins at 10 a.m. with the Opening Ceremony and walk starting at 11. Registration can be done online by clicking here. There are some rules in place to prevent the walk from becoming too chaotic.

All dogs must also be up to date on their shots, and owners should be prepared to show proof of such. The Bark for Life walk gives people a chance to bring their cherished pets on a walk for a great cause before the Relay for Life in August.
