This Thanksgiving season is expected to have pre-pandemic levels of travel and then some. 55 million travelers are expected to venture further than 50 miles from their home this holiday and Triple A says that 1 point 5 million Michiganders will contribute to that total. They suggest that those traveling by car should inspect their vehicle before they leave home, checking tires, battery, replacing wiper blades and refilling windshield cleaner. Even despite their warnings the agency says they’ll rescue more than 360,000 stranded drivers across the nation during the holiday season.
