JACKSON, Mich. – Just 2 days after the shooting death of 25 year old Krashawna Walker, police have arrested a suspect. 20 year old Mackenzie Lynn Quarrels of Lansing has been charged with 1 count of open murder, 1 count of felony firearm, and 1 count of carrying a concealed weapon. Walker was fatally shot just after 8 pm while in the 200 block of West South Street in Jackson. Quarrels was found in Battle Creek at an apartment building, and was arrested with no incident.  Preliminary examination is set for April 6th at 9:30 am.
