Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — Many Jackson residents received an alarming shelter-in-place notification yesterday afternoon from the City of Jackson’s CodeRED alert system following a shooting in the 100 block of Hollis Street in Summit Township. The alert advised recipients that there was an active shooter situation and to stay put for the time being while officials searched for persons of interest. The shelter-in-place order is no longer in effect.
The Jackson County Office of the Sheriff is now investigating shooting death of 29-year-old Keon Devonte Aguilar, which officials believe was a domestic dispute between several people in the home on Hollis Street.
As of Tuesday morning, four subjects remain at large:
- 18-year-old Bryan Michael Johnson: Black male, 6’2″, 165 lbs. Johnson has black hair in dreadlocks and was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and black sweatpants.
- 25-year-old Alexes Marie Holly: White female, 5’7″, 180 lbs. She has red hair and blue eyes.
- Male of unknown race, between 16-18 years old, 5’8″ to 5’11”, 140-160 lbs. The subject was wearing a black shirt and black pants.
- White male, approx. 16 years old, 6′ tall, 190 lbs. The subject has brown hair and was wearing a black shirt and black jeans.
