Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — The Jackson County Department of Transportation has announced a scheduled road closure on Lawrence Road in Norvell Township between Wamplers Lake Road and Cash Road for stump removal. JCDOT says the road closure will begin this Monday, April 28, and is expected to be completed by Monday, May 12.

During this time, Lawrence Road will be fully closed to through traffic, although local residents, emergency vehicles, school buses, mail delivery, and garbage services will continue to have access. The department says no detour routes will be posted, and motorists are advised to seek alternate routes and plan their travel accordingly to avoid delays.
