Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — Tipped Wage and Paid Sick Leave is now behind us with the legislation passing the House and Senate, and the Governor signing off last week. State Senator Sue Shink said there was one component of the legislation she wished would have stayed in the final bill.

The Governor’s State of the State Address is this Wednesday. Senator Shink said she expects the message to fall in line with the priorities laid out in the Governor’s proposed budget.

Then on Thursday, the Senator is holding an event in Jackson for renter’s rights.
