Wayne County, Mich. (WKHM) — Michigan State Police are investigating a deadly crash that happened Sunday evening on Westbound I-96 near Detroit.
Witness statements verify that a Yukon was driving at a high rate of speed, struck a bridge pier and ejected four people from the car — they were all killed.
“Once again, a driver‘s decision to drive recklessly cost lives on our roadways,” said Michigan State Police Second District First Lieutenant Mike Shaw. “This decision will not only affect those families involved but also witnesses and first responders on scene. Please drive responsibly. Lives are at stake.”
