Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — The Jackson Police Department is investigating three attempted bank robberies in the Jackson area.
The first was Tuesday, September 19th at the American 1 Credit Union on North Street. It is unclear at this time if money was taken.
The second attempt was today at the Flagstar Bank on S. Brown Street which was unsuccessful. The robber then hit the Flagstar Bank branch in downtown Jackson on W. Michigan Avenue. According to WKHM’s sources the robber may have gotten at least some cash, but at that time was immediately apprehended by the Jackson Police Department.
We believe the culprit, who is suspected of all three federal crimes, is in police custody.
