Jackson, Mich. — The Napoleon High School Robotics Team recently became a division finalist in the state robotics competition, and is now heading to Texas for the Vex Robotics World Championship 2023.

The team consists of Luke Stimer, Landon Gill, Morgan Smilowski, and coach Adam Draa.

A Facebook post by Napoleon Community Schools states:

The Pirates are honored to compete in this prestigious event. Of the 13,000 VEX high school teams worldwide, only 800 teams are invited to compete for a shot at the World Championships. They will be competing against some of the best robotics teams from around the globe.
