Due to poor ice conditions the Midwest Open Ice Fishing Tournament has been cancelled for the second year in a row. Event organizer Ton Knutson of Knutson’s Sporting Goods:

More than $35,000 in cash and prizes are awarded at the annual event, with the winners walking away with $20,300, the highest payout in the country for an ice fishing tournament. Teams entered in the 2020 event will be rolling over for the 2021 tournament which is to be held January 31st at Wamplers Lake.
