The Michigan prisoner who was mistakenly freed from prison in Ohio was captured at a home in Detroit, Saturday.

The prisoner, 31 year-old Talleon Brazil, was captured by the Michigan Department of Corrections Absconder Recovery Unit after several days of surveilling a Detroit home.

On January 14th, Brazil was taken to Ohio from the Saginaw Correctional Facility to face a series of drug charges. Authorities in Ohio mistakenly released Brazil on bond on January 21st.

He was then picked up from Ohio by his family and taken back to Detroit.

Brazil was sentenced to 15 to 40 back in 2010 for unarmed robbery, carjacking, felony firearms and other charges.

Authorities say that he may face additional charges for eluding capture.
