Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — Looking for help with employment, housing, or health services? Head to the Jackson County Courthouse this Wednesday for a resource and career fair. The Michigan Department of Corrections is hosting the event from 1 to 3 p.m. at 312 South Jackson Street in downtown Jackson.
There will be representatives from various organizations including Michigan Works, the Department of Health and Human Services, and local recovery and workforce programs. The Secretary of State will also be on-site with a mobile station for anyone needing ID assistance.
This event is free and open to the public. It is part of the MDOC’s ongoing efforts to recruit and retain staff as they address shortages across their facilities.
