City of Jackson Mayor Daniel Mahoney recently joined AM Jackson to discuss a variety of topics, including the upcoming State of the City. Mayor Mahoney said he anticipates the event happening during its usual time in mid-March. The desired location is one that has been in the works for some time now.

The Mayor spoke about why the City decided to take on the project, and the benefits he believes the City will see with the end product.

He also expressed the importance of not just keeping the building standing in downtown Jackson, but to make it an active piece of the City.
