Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — 31-year-old Gabriel Dixon, who is accused of fatally shooting his girlfriend Arianna Reed in September of 2022, was bound over to Circuit Court for trial by District Court Judge Robert Gaecke on charges of Open Murder, Felony Firearm (second offense), Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, and Possession of Ammunition by a Felon (as a 4th Habitual Offender). The case has been assigned to Circuit Court Judge John McBain.

Reed’s body was initially found in Ingham County, where the case originated before the discovery of more evidence led to the determination that the crime occurred in Jackson County.  Dixon remains lodged in the Jackson County Jail without bond at this time.
