Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — If you’re traveling near Jackson or Ingham counties this Thanksgiving week, be prepared for delays on U.S. 127. Temporary closures are scheduled Sunday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. between Page Avenue and Michigan Avenue. Both directions will be affected, but traffic will be monitored by state police to keep vehicles moving.

These closures are part of a statewide effort by MDOT to manage ongoing construction projects during the busy holiday season. In addition to U.S. 127, drivers can expect lane reductions and detours on major roadways like I-75, I-96, and U.S. 131.
