On Friday, April 2, Jackson Public Schools announced that all students will be moving to remote learning when they return from Spring Break on April 5.

The decision was made after a rise in COVID cases within the JPS district over the past month, including positive cases within the Jackson High junior varsity and varsity basketball teams.

Superintendent Jeff Beal says that JPS will continue to monitor the local impact of COVID after spring break.  He says the district is hopeful that there will be a transition to some in-person learning beginning Monday, April 12.
