Jackson, Mich. (WKHM, Marc W. Daly) — 20 years ago someone had the bright idea of running on Thanksgiving… well, that idea stuck and grew into the annual Turkey Trot happening tomorrow (Thursday, November 28) at Ella Sharp Park. Longtime organizer Jeff Beagle recently joined WKHM’s sister station, the K105.3 Morning Show with J-Rod and Micki to share the details:

The Turkey Trot is the last race in the ORS Series. Registration is still open; you can sign up at the website below. Proceeds from this year’s event will support the David Hinz Memorial Scholarship, Jackson Autism Support Network, Jackson YMCA, and the Kory C Wittman II Memorial.
