A 14 year-old Jackson boy was found shot to death outside of his home in the 500 block of Orange Street, Friday night.
The victim’s father came home from work just before 11PM and found his son on the ground unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the chest.
The boy was pronounced dead at the scene.
There were no reports of shots fired in the area, according to Jackson Police, nor any reports of incidents that may have led to the shooting.
The shooting death remains under investigation.
