Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — Jackson Police responded to reports of several individuals with handguns on McNeal Street Monday, April 8. When officers arrived, the suspects had already left the scene.

Detectives later spotted two individuals nearby and made contact. During the interaction, one of them admitted to having a gun in his pocket. Officer Emily Smith recovered a revolver from the subject, who was then arrested.

The individual is now facing charges for carrying a concealed weapon. Police continue to investigate the incident and are working to identify any other suspects involved.
