Jackson Police Department officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of Blair Park Drive during their January 2 shift. There, a 34-year-old male was arrested for being a felon in possession of a firearm, being a felon in possession of ammunition, felonious assault, and an outstanding warrant.
JPD was also able to recover a stolen vehicle during that same shift on the 300 block of Van Buren Street and return it to the registered owner.
