Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — The Jackson County Crime Victim’s Rights Unit’s Candlelight Vigil at Queens Church is coming up Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. Kristy Conley with the Unit spoke about how the event can unite the community even with a solemn atmosphere.
The Unit can be a great resource for those dealing with not only the grief of losing a loved one, but also with the added stress that comes with the proceedings of a criminal court case prolonging it.
For families that also have to go through the financial burden of a sudden loss due to crime, the Crime Victim’s Rights Unit can help them find some much-needed support.
