Jackson, Mich. — April is Autism Awareness Month in Jackson, and Shelly Lewis, President of the Jackson Autism Support Network, says you’ll notice blue lights around light poles and the County Tower Building this month.
The lighting ceremony was staged at Lean Rocket Lab Monday night. Those who would like to learn more about the Jackson Autism Support Network and the resources available can visit them online at JASN-MI.org or find them on Facebook. Lewis says they have regular social groups for the kids and parents.
The events don’t stop with Light It Up Blue. A 5k is scheduled for May. Learn more below:
