Napoleon jumped out to a 9-0 lead to start the game and never trailed.  Despite struggling shooting the basketball the Jayhawks hung around through 3 quarters getting as close as 4 points multiple times before Napoleon pulled away late.

The Pirates were led by center Jared Viers who scored 16 points, rebounded well, and had several blocked shots.
