Jackson, Mich. — Hundreds turned out for soup but more importantly to support seniors of Jackson County with the Soups on For Seniors event last night at the American 1 Events Center at Keeley Park. Diane Derby, the Chair of the Friends of Jackson Seniors, says the turnout showed tremendous support and proceeds will go a long way to help Meals on Wheels.
Director Danielle Pequet said events like this and support of the Friends of Jackson Seniors is so import for the mission of the Jackson County Department on Aging.
