A case of child porn has landed a Howell man behind bars. Acting on a tip to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, Michigan State Police arrested 39-year-old Thomas Flanders last week after searching his home and finding digital evidence. He’s been arraigned on possession of child sexually abusive material and using a computer to commit a crime. He faces 20 years in prison if convicted. Detectives say the case is a good example of why parents should talk with their children about safe use of the internet.
