Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — The National Weather Service (NWS) says another hot and humid day is in store with heat indices exceeding 100 degrees over much of southern Lower Michigan. Scattered thunderstorms will develop after 4 PM, and some may become severe with damaging winds and large hail.
Our area is under a Heat Advisory through 9 p.m. Thursday. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Young children and pets should never be left unattended in vehicles under any circumstances.
