Grass Lake, Mich. (WKHM, Greg O’Connor) — Michigan State Police, acting on a tip, were able to track down and arrest a suspect in a break-in in Grass Lake. A newspaper delivery driver contacted State Police yesterday morning around 3 a.m. The driver reported a possible break-in in progress at Cattleman’s Coffee Shop. Troopers discovered the door had in fact been breached and security footage showed someone stealing money from the cash register.
After a brief search, MSP were able to locate their suspect sitting in a vehicle in the Grass Lake area. The suspect was arrested and taken to the Jackson County Jail.
