This weekend is meant for off-roading. Starting on Saturday, August 19, off-road vehicle trails and routes are open. Visitors can legally ride without an ORV license or trail permit. Michigan is home to 4,000 miles of off-road vehicle routes, but don’t forget to ride responsibly with safety gear, at a safe speed, and knowing the conditions of the trail you’re riding.
The cost of a Michigan ORV license is $26.25.
