Jackson,  Mich. (WKHM, Greg O’Connor) — Jackson Fire Department was called to Omni on S. Elm around 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 11 for what was reported as a structure fire, but turned out to be magnesium bricks plus some other material on fire outside the building.

The fire department contacted Department of Public Works (DPW) and were able to use a load of sand to help smother the fire and protect the building. There was no damage inside the building, and no injuries were reported. Blackman-Leoni and Summit assisted the Jackson Fire Department.
