Ferndale, Mich. (WKHM) — A Ferndale man charged with sex trafficking girls has been sentenced to more than 15 years in federal prison. Federal prosecutors say 34-year-old Toriano Davis pled guilty to two counts of sex trafficking of a minor in February. Police started their investigation while attempting to find two girls who ran away from home in late 2020. A relative contacted law enforcement alleging that the girls were being trafficked in the Detroit area. They were later tracked down to a motel room in Southfield. Davis was found in a motel in Roseville with a 15-year-old girl.
