Ed Sheeran is launching a new line of hot sauces called ‘Tingly Teds’. He teamed up with Heinz to create the line of sauces. So far, there will be two flavors available; ‘Tingly’ and ‘Extra Tingly’.
The name comes from Sheeran’s childhood nickname which was ‘Ted’. And any Ed Sheeran fan can vouch for the fact that he is huge fan of ketchup. So much so that he has a tattoo of a Heinz ketchup bottle.
Sheeran posted an Instagram video, where he revealed that he’s always dreamed of creating “a sauce that took the same pride of place as ketchup.”
“I had a year of whittling down the perfect flavours with a great mixing team, and we settled on two absolute belters, the tingly and the extra tingly,” Sheeran wrote in a statement shared on the hot sauce line’s Instagram page.
The sauces are available for pre-order, but unfortunately for us in the U.S. shipping isn’t available to us….yet. Hopefully soon because I would love to try it, Ed!
