Be sure to check with the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) before heading to a state park this summer. There will be temporary closures in place for several parks while the DNR works to address issues and make enhancements.

Parks that will close include the conservatory and outdoor gardens in Belle Isle Park and Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park. Before visiting, you can go to Michigan.gov/DNRClosures for the latest updates.
