Friday, the State Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy tested the industrial site where construction aggregate materials spilled into the Detroit River.

Officials say that test results of the Detroit Bulk Storage property and Detroit River water show no excessive signs of radiation.

In late November, crushed limestone released into the river as a result of a colapsed seawall at the site.

The spill is not expected to pose a risk to drinking water, according to officials.
