Jackson, Mich. (WKHM, Greg O’Connor) — The Michigan State Police (MSP) announced on social media that they have arrested a 48-year-old Department of Corrections (DOC) employee for smuggling.

The employee from Jackson was accused of smuggling narcotics into the Parnall Correctional Facility in Jackson. MSP says the arrest was made after a tip from a member of the DOC staff. The investigation is ongoing and no further details are being released at this time.
