Michigan — The Secretary of State says Michiganders have until April 18 to register to vote online or by mail, postmarked by April 18.

People can register to vote online at Michigan.gov/vote.

After April 18, eligible citizens can still register in person at their city or township clerk’s office with proof of residency through election day.

Citizens who also plan to vote with an absentee ballot are encouraged to submit their applications as soon as possible online, by mail, or by visiting their local clerk’s office.
