The MHSAA boys and girls cross country state championships were held Saturday 11/2 at Michigan International Speedway.
The Hanover-Horton boys team won the Division 3 state championship with an average time of 17:03.1. Senior Garrett Melling had the top time for the Comets at 16:21.3 which was the 5th best individual time.
Napoleon finished 17th.

Jacob Singleton from Western finished 48th in Division 2.

The Concord boys team ran to an 8th place finish and were led by Jonathan Mikovits who had the 4th fastest time in Divison 4.

Rylee Tolson from Stockbridge is the state champion in Divison 3 girls cross country after running a time of 18:31.4 on Saturday.
Lumen Christi was the highest finishing girls team from the Jackson area. They came in 19th place.
