Tuesday night, May 3rd, 2022, at 7pm Columbia School District will open the doors of the auditorium to parents, students, staff and community members to discuss school safety. This meeting was prompted by the recent bomb threats called into the district.
Area law enforcement, court officials and counselors will be on hand to discuss the legal ramifications of making a false bomb threat and what the district procedures are when a threat is received. Columbia School District Superintendent Pam Campbell said during a recent AM Jackson that she “hopes that we’ll have an opportunity to make sure that our parents and community members know what steps we are taking to keep our students safe.”
The Columbia Central High School Auditorium is located at 11775 Hewitt Road in Brooklyn.
