Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — Chelsea State Bank has announced the hiring of their Jackson Banking Center Vice President and Branch Manager, Jim Sykes.

Sykes, a graduate of Lumen Christi and Central Michigan university, has had an extensive 38-year career in the banking industry in Jackson.

“As a recent retiree from Huntington Bank in Jackson, I was immediately attracted to Chelsea State Bank’s local focus on the community,” said Sykes. “As a lifetime resident of Jackson County, I take a strong interest in the success of this community. When I began my career in banking at Security Savings and Loan Association, it was a local, community bank, and now I have the honor to help launch Chelsea State Bank’s Jackson Banking Center in Jackson, the timing and purpose align.”

Chelsea State Bank’s Jackson Banking Center is slated to open in the fall of 2024 at 611 N. Wisner Street.
