Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — New charges have been filed against a Jackson man accused of stalking Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel and her wife, Plymouth City Commissioner Alanna Maguire.
Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy says Christopher Dean Baldwin was already facing misdemeanor stalking charges for sitting on Nessel’s porch earlier this month. Now, he’s accused of also following her to a March 5 city commission meeting and using her home address and phone number to obtain court documents.
Baldwin now faces two felony counts of aggravated stalking. A judge previously ruled him incompetent for trial, and he remains in a secure facility under court jurisdiction. If his competency is restored, the case will proceed.
Baldwin was arraigned on the new charges last week, with bond set at $200,000. His next court appearance is April 4.
