Jackson, Mich. — The Jackson County Chamber of Commerce (Chamber) is celebrating women who make a difference in Jackson County March 6-10 for Women’s Week presented by Consumers Energy.

According to the Chamber, this week-long celebration will feature an Economic Luncheon with Athena and NIKE award winners, an Off the Clock featuring Emily Moorhead, President of Henry Ford Health, and a Panel Discussion featuring women in Banking, Law, Food, Government, and Media.

The Women’s Week Panel Discussion features Chrissy Siders, President & CEO of TRUE Community Credit Union; Arlene Robinson, Vice Mayor and Councilmember, Ward 1, City of Jackson; Alexis Gilbert, Sr. Director of Global Brand & Communications of Dawn Foods; Kristina Fisk, Attorney and Partner of Inosencio & Fisk, PLLC; and McKibbin Media Group’s very own Jenny Lewis and Jessica Poxson, Hosts of the K105.3 Morning Show. The event takes place at Cascades Manor on March 10th from 7:30am – 9:00am.

The Chamber is also encouraging people to nominate difference-making women for the Women’s Week Wall of Fame webpage at JacksonChamber.org/WomensWeek. The Chamber will also be posting daily videos on their Facebook page from top female leaders.

In addition to events, the Jackson Chamber encourages members of our community to submit names of any difference-making women in their life and/or in our community, for recognition on the Women’s Week Wall of Fame webpage. You can also find daily videos from top female leaders on the Chamber’s Facebook page all week long.
