The Jackson Districts Library’s Summer Reading Program will hold a grand finale celebration on July 30th from 1pm to 4pm at the Carnegie Branch in Downtown Jackson.
To take part in the Summer Reading challenge, kids had to read for a total of four hours between June 1st and July 31st. The JDL website at myjdl.com hosted an online form where they could log the time they spent reading and get registered to win gift cards from local businesses.
2022’s Summer Reading theme was “An Ocean of Possibilities” and going with that theme the last hurrah will feature a pirate acrobatic troupe, a mermaid craft and more for the whole family.
