The Jackson County Michigan Historical Society is holding a book launch event at the Ye Old Carriage Shop Museum on 3538 Henderson Road in Spring Arbor. From noon until 1pm on February 8, they will be showing off their new book titled The Surprising Automotive Heritage of Jackson, Michigan. Linda Hass, the Historical Society’s Vice President, told WKHM that the book has something for those at every level of Jackson automotive history interest.

Linda spoke with us about the event that showed them that public interest in the topic was strong, inspiring them to begin the process of writing the book.

She also told our audience about something interesting she learned while doing her research for the book.
