With the warmer weather the Michigan Department of Natural Resources is warning drivers about deer. Officials say deer are moving from what they call their wintering complexes to populations being on the move towards their range they occupy in spring and summer months. As a result, they say deer movement has increased noticeably over the past few days. Motorists are urged to remain alert, anticipate deer crossing roads and use extra caution behind the wheel.
