Thursday a group of protestors attempted to shut down the afternoon commute when roughly 25 cars were parked blocking the left two lanes of westbound traffic on I-94 near Greenfield, during which pedestrians stood in traffic. When Michigan State Police responded, officers said some of the protestors were extremely aggressive towards them and tow trucks were called to help with the situation. That is when the protestors disbanded and left. MSP says that no one was injured, one citation was issued to the organizer and no vehicles were towed.
