Jackson, MI (WKHM) – According to a press release from the Police and Fire Service Division of the City of Jackson, officers of the Jackson Police Department responded to the 900 block of Chittock Ave for a shooting victim at approximately 12:18am.  Officers arrived and found the victim in the passenger seat of a vehicle parked in a driveway with an apparent gunshot wound to the head.  The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by medical personnel.  The victim has been identified as 19-year-old Tayveon Andrew.  At this time, the death is being investigated as a homicide.  No arrests have been made in connection with this crime and the investigation is ongoing.  Anyone with information should contact Detective Aaron Grove at 5170768-8796.  You may also report information anonymously by calling crime stoppers at 855-840-7867.
