Another long lost shipwreck has been found in Lake Superior. Great Lakes Shipwreck Historical Society executive director Bruce Lynn says a tugboat named The Satellite went down in 1879 when it was towing other boats and took on water.
Lynn says the small crew tried to pump water out for a couple of hours, but they were unsuccessful, although the crew was saved because other ships were around. He says they will not attempt to salvage anything from the shipwreck, but will study it more with their remote operated vehicle and may make an exhibit about it at the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum.
