Jackson, Mich. — Willbee Transit Mix started in 1907 in Adrian, MI producing concrete burial vaults delivered by horse and buggy and also by sleigh, moving to Jackson in the 1950’s.

Now, they currently operate 13 Redi mix concrete trucks as well as numerous dump trucks, boom trucks, and concrete pump trucks. What you may not know about Willbee Transit-Mix is that they also have a huge selection of tools, building supplies, and materials.

Joel Sherwood, Steve Willbee, Aaron Sherwood, Chris Willbee, and Zack Sherwood are the fifth generation of Willbee Transit Mix and joined WKHM Thursday to celebrate Local Contractor Week.
